So much inspiration in this vintage Fall wedding! This is my favorite time of year to tie the knot and this particular theme I promise does not disappoint! Amy, our blushing bride, is a perfect example of vintage chic, with her long and elegant, lace trimmed gown and soft curls highlighted with a simple white flower. The addition of a shawl was perfect for the occasion and meshed brilliantly with her mix matched bridesmaids. The bouquet was by far a winner for me with it's lovely sunflowers contrasted with deep red accents. Special thanks to Jon Larson Photography for this amazing submission. Enjoy!
From the Photographer: "This wedding envelopes the simplicity and elegance of a Fall wedding with a vintage feel on a crisp October day in Midwestern Illinois. This couple wanted a simple, organic, vintage wedding where all the guests were treated like family. It was so important to them to be surrounded by their friends and family, from the ceremony to the reception. Jana Cagle from Storybook Gardens made their dream come to life with an amazing 'down home' fall decor for a super elegant, but super simple wedding. The ceremony was set up as a semi-circle under a very large, old tree creating a peaceful yet elegant environment."
"The reception was set up in a large U shape so it was as you were sitting at a large family table! There was no head table, everyone was together and included. The bride's dress was worn by her mother years ago on her wedding day, and was now made into a more modern gown altered by DMP Tailoring and Alterations from Waunakee, Wisconsin. Vintage-chic would be the best way to describe this beautiful bride. And the dapper groom wore a sharp gray suit from H&M. The flowers brought all of the bridal party colors together with a vibrant fall mix from Pocket Full of Posies out of Waunakee, WI. Last but not least, the delicious catering (i.e. amazing cupcakes) were from Sweet Dream Desserts and Catering."
