Sultry in Marsala | 2015 Pantone Color of the Year

Last week the 2015 Pantone color of the year, marsala, was announced, sending every trend seeking bride into a wedding color palette fashion frenzy.  What I love so much about this sultry shade of red is it's versatility and sheer effortlessness to fit within all the seasons.  In honor of the lovely marsala, I created four color palette inspiration boards for 2015 weddings.  I had so much fun with this post that I decided to make the mood boards a monthly feature on the blog, each month with a different highlighted hue, so enjoy our first installment!  Yay!

Summer Inspiration

I love this sophisticated wedding palette of marsala, smoke blue and dolphin gray! These colors are a gorgeous alternative to a traditional vibrant and sunny palette.  Perfect for brides searching for a muted and mature color scheme!

Fall Inspiration

Bold, dark and dramatic - that is what comes to mind when I think of fall.  This color palette is amazing and geared towards to the adventurous and gothic inspired bride.  Intense marsala lips and nails accompanied by the glitz of gold add a special pizazz to the midnight black themed palette.  Such a sexy color combination for a Halloween inspired affair!
